We are Mike & Sandi Glick and are serving with CAM International in Guatemala! We have 4 children, Jacob, Kimberly, Felicita and Maria. Jacob lives in San Diego, CA where he works as a helicopter mechanic. Kimberly is living in Bellingham, WA and is planning to serve an internship through CAM here in Guatemala. Felicita and Maria live with us in Guatemala and attend school at Christian Academy of Guatemala. Felicita is a senior in High School and Maria is in 8th grade.
We joined CAM to help with Short term missions and with expansion plans at SETECA, the Central American Theological Seminary located in Guatemala City. Over the last years God has expanded our vision, and we now work mainly in coordinating Internship opportunities and Short Term Mission groups here in Guatemala. We see this as a vital part of mobilizing the next generation for missions. To help provide an opportunity for people to see God at work and to find where He would have them join in!
We want to enable those that God is calling to be able to experience serving in another culture, and to help expand a Kingdom mentality in the Body of Christ.
We also help with two local ministries, Kairos Ministry, a ministry serving children with cancer and their families, and Casita Benjamín, a care center for children in the neighborhood next to the main Guatemala City dump.
We also are involved in our church, Iglesia Comunidad Cristiana Pueblo de Dios. Mike helps lead the youth group and Sandi is involved in a women's group.
